I started printing in grade 11 while attending the visual arts program at H.B. Beal Secondary School. Upon graduating from high school I continued to pursue my passion for printmaking at NSCAD University in Halifax Nova Scotia where I graduated with a BFA major in Fine Art (Printmaking) and a minor in Drawing and Art History in 2004. I then moved back to London and opened Pretty in Ink, a printshop and gallery with fellow artist Adrienne Thompson. After successfully operating Pretty in Ink for five years the studio closed its doors in the spring of 2010. I started Shark Bite Ink in 2016 to promote my new interest in printing shirts, totes and making brooches. Currently I live with my two awesome kids in London and I work at the University of Western Ontario as the printmaking technician.
